About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join their dynamic team. The CFO will be a strategic partner in all deal flow, directly involved with portfolio investments, and will oversee all finance, accounting, and treasury functions. This role is pivotal in managing and preparing all financial reporting, leading the finance team, and ensuring the accuracy and credibility of financial statements. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in transaction finance, with a focus on alternative investments, and will be responsible for managing relationships with the Board of Directors, investors, and external service providers. Applicants for the CFO position at the company should have a minimum of 15 years' relevant work experience, with a strong preference for those holding advanced degrees such as CPA, CFA, or MBA. The role requires expertise in financial life cycles for investment management, knowledge of accounting standards, and experience in a regulated investment advisor environment. The CFO will also be involved in the strategic financial initiatives of the firm, including budgeting and forecasting, and will play a key role in the firm's growth and expansion. Strong leadership, project management, and communication skills are essential, as is the ability to manage multiple projects and work effectively in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
