$120,000 to $150,000 base salary | Performance bonuses | Full benefits | 401(k) match | Cell phone allowance Winter Garden, FL | Commercial concrete and masonry contractor Blayze Group is partnering with an established concrete and masonry contractor to appoint a Concrete / CMU Project Manager Estimator for commercial and multifamily projects across Central Florida. This role is not focused on roadway, heavy civil, paving, utilities, or sitework-only concrete. The client needs someone with strong vertical construction experience across commercial concrete, cast-in-place concrete, precast elements, and CMU / block construction. The successful candidate will manage concrete and masonry projects from preconstruction through closeout, combining technical field knowledge with accurate estimating, cost control, scheduling, subcontractor coordination, supplier management, and client communication. Why This Opportunity $120,000 to $150,000 base salary aligned with experience Full benefits package including health, dental, vision, and 401(k) with match Long-term opportunity with a respected and stable construction business Commercial and multifamily project portfolio with concrete and CMU scope Direct exposure to senior leadership across operations and business development Opportunity to manage projects from estimate through closeout, not just one isolated phase The Role Manage full lifecycle concrete and CMU projects from preconstruction, estimating and bid review through field execution, financial control and closeout Prepare detailed estimates and quantity takeoffs for concrete and masonry scopes, including formwork, rebar, ready-mix concrete, CMU block, mortar, grout, reinforcement, accessories, labor, equipment and subcontractor pricing Review blueprints, specifications, addenda, structural drawings and architectural drawings to develop accurate scopes, budgets and proposals Lead bid preparation, participate in bid reviews and produce clear proposals with detailed breakdowns, assumptions, inclusions and exclusions Perform value engineering and cost alternative analysis to support competitive pricing while maintaining design intent and quality Develop project schedules, phasing plans and procurement strategies in coordination with field leadership and estimating Manage concrete and CMU projects typically ranging from $500K to $3M+ in value Coordinate with owners, general contractors, architects, engineers, inspectors, suppliers, rebar fabricators, masonry contractors and testing labs Oversee RFIs, submittals, change orders, material approvals, purchase orders, subcontract agreements, billing, cash flow, punch lists, as-builts, warranties and lien waivers Track project costs against estimates using job cost reports, forecast final costs and take corrective action where needed Support on-site operations to ensure work is delivered safely, accurately, on schedule and in line with plans, specifications and quality standards Background Sought 5+ years of progressive experience as a Project Manager, Estimator, or PM / Estimator within concrete, masonry, shell construction, or commercial specialty contracting Strong commercial or multifamily vertical construction experience is required Hands-on experience with cast-in-place concrete and CMU / block construction is strongly preferred Strong knowledge of formwork systems, concrete mix designs, placing and finishing methods, rebar, grout, mortar, CMU construction techniques and structural masonry Ability to complete detailed quantity takeoffs and unit price estimates Experience estimating labor, material, equipment, suppliers and subcontractor costs Ability to read and interpret complex structural and architectural drawings Experience managing self-perform and subcontracted concrete / masonry work Strong understanding of job costing, change management, risk mitigation, cost forecasting and project financial controls Experience using Bluebeam Revu, PlanSwift, OST, Sage Estimating, Procore, Primavera P6, MS Project or similar construction software Knowledge of OSHA, ACI, ASTM, TMS and relevant building code requirements is beneficial Strong communication, leadership, organization and problem-solving skills Comfortable managing multiple projects in a fast-paced commercial construction environment Must be authorized to work in the US, no visa sponsorship available Apply If you are a Concrete / CMU Project Manager Estimator with commercial or multifamily vertical construction experience, and you are confident managing work from estimate through closeout, please submit your resume for consideration. #J-18808-Ljbffr
