Sr Manager, Analytics & Insights

Thermo Fisher Scientific seeks a Senior Manager of Analytics & Insights to lead enterprise analytics strategy, oversee data infrastructure modernization, and manage a global analytics team. This role drives data-driven decision-making across commercial, customer, and operational functions while building scalable analytics capabilities.
Responsibilities
- Define and execute enterprise analytics strategy, roadmap, and investment priorities aligned with business goals
- Lead modernization of digital analytics capabilities including AI-supported insights and cloud-based platforms
- Build scalable analytics and reporting infrastructure supporting customer, commercial, and operational objectives
- Lead, develop, and manage a global analytics team of 3-5 professionals across multiple disciplines
- Partner with business and technology stakeholders to identify opportunities and deliver sustainable solutions
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Business Analytics, or related field
- 8+ years in analytics, business intelligence, data engineering, data science, or related disciplines
- 3+ years leading analytics, data engineering, or data science teams
- Proficiency with analytics tools (Tableau, Power BI, Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics) and data warehouses (Snowflake, Teradata, Hadoop)
- Strong SQL skills and experience with Python, ETL/ELT development, and modern data integration
- Experience architecting cloud-based analytics infrastructure and solutions on AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
- Proven success building and leading high-performing analytics organizations at enterprise scale
Compensation: $130,000–$165,000 base
