Posting Summary


Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, is seeking a Temporary Research Assistant in the Department of Center for Immunity and Inflammation within the New Jersey Medical School (NJMS).

Temporary, full-time position. Under direction, the Temporary Research Assistant performs and assists with technical laboratory procedures and analyses in support of specialized research activities of the laboratory. Assists in the set-up, and conducting of experiments as required. Performs other related laboratory duties as required.

Among the key duties of this position are the following:

• Under general guidance, provides laboratory and technical support involving research methods and techniques.
• Performs multistage purifications, other assays and tests; propagates specimens and cell cultures.
• Communicate and collaborate with numerous individuals on all facets of the project.
• Assists with experimentation and research activities.
• Assists with the maintenance of the Laboratory facilities, equipment, and instruments.
