Salary: $22.50
Shift: 1st Shift: 6:00 am CST – 2:30 pm CST/2nd Shift: 1:00 pm CST – 9:30 pm CST
Are you an experienced logistics professional looking to step into a high-impact leadership role? We are seeking a Senior Supply Chain & Logistics Lead to act as a vital bridge between daily operations, customer satisfaction, and team leadership.
In this role, you will lead daily logistics activities, mentor and train staff, handle complex customer inquiries, and ensure expedited and sensitive shipments move seamlessly across domestic and international networks. Team Leadership & Operational Oversight
- Guide & Prioritize: Lead daily operational workflows, assign tasks to staff, and keep logistics processes running smoothly and accurately.
- Train & Support: Partner with supervisors to deliver hands-on training, provide continuous feedback, and assist in maintaining team compliance and safety.
- Process Excellence: Oversee service commitments to ensure all operations align with company policies and high standards of service quality.
Advanced Logistics & Escalation Management
- Specialized Handling: Manage expedited, high-priority, or sensitive shipments that require expert oversight and precise tracing.
- Customer & Carrier Operations: Act as the primary escalation point for complex billing, tracking, and shipment concerns; provide detailed, high-level quotes.
- Data & Reporting: Run, analyze, and present operational reports to identify bottlenecks, improve efficiency, and prevent shipment delays.
- Account Management: Build strong relationships with key accounts and carriers while maintaining detailed customer profiles and service requirements.
What We Are Looking For
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years in logistics, freight forwarding, or supply chain operations support.
- Leadership Skills: Proven track record of guiding team members, prioritizing work, and maintaining a high-accuracy environment.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Expertise in tracking and tracing complex domestic and international shipments, with a knack for resolving delays proactively.
- Tech-Savvy: Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word) and web-based logistics software/TMS tools.
- Communication: Clear, professional verbal and written English skills to liaise with internal teams, carriers, and high-value clients.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required. (Associate degree or equivalent work experience preferred).
