The NC Department of Adult Correction is one of the largest state agencies with more than 14,000 employees. It is responsible for safeguarding and preserving lives and property through prevention, protection, and preparation as well as the care, custody, and supervision of all adults sentenced for violating North Carolina laws. Description of Work

This position is responsible for accurately processing payments for dairy product purchases. The role requires close coordination with internal units, the Purchasing Section, and vendors to verify quantities, pricing, and documentation. Extensive manual and computer-based research is often needed to ensure correct payment amounts.

Key Job Duties:

• Process payment requests for dairy product purchases and ensure accuracy in all transactions.
• Coordinate with internal units to confirm quantities and amounts received.
• Work with the Department's Purchasing Section to validate purchase order details.
• Contact vendors to resolve discrepancies or incorrect invoices.
• Conduct detailed manual and electronic research to determine accurate payment amounts.
