Job Responsibilities

• Develop Tailored Therapy Plans: Assess patients' needs and craft individualized treatment strategies aimed at helping them meet their personal rehabilitation objectives.
• Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Apply evidence-based interventions to boost patients' motor skills, cognitive abilities, and daily living functions.
• Collaborate with Multidisciplinary Teams: Network closely with OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nursing staff to deliver comprehensive, integrated care that addresses every aspect of a patient's recovery.
• Guide Patients and Families: Educate patients and their caregivers about therapeutic methods to encourage continued progress outside of clinical settings.
• Track and Document Progress: Monitor clinical outcomes and modify treatment approaches as necessary, ensuring patients remain on their path toward recovery.

Educational Requirements

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Ongoing education or post-graduate certifications are encouraged and supported.

Certifications

• Current Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) licensure.
• NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification required.
