Life Insurance Specialist - Central Florida

Job Overview Position: Field Life Agent – Full Time, Hourly (Exempt/Non Exempt) Sign‑On Bonus: $2,500 (split into $1,000 after 30 days and $1,500 after 90 days of employment) Compensation & Benefits Unlimited Income Potential – Average earnings $75,000–$100,000 (base plus commissions) Unlimited leads at no cost Elevated tiered commissions for the first 12 months Annual base pay $29,000 (non‑exempt, eligible for overtime) Medical, dental and vision benefits 401(k) match Paid parental leave and adoption assistance Paid time off (PTO), company holidays, CEO days and floating holidays Paid volunteer day annually Tuition assistance, professional certification reimbursement and other development opportunities AAA membership and additional discounts, perks and rewards Responsibilities Solicit and sell Life & Health insurance and Annuity products primarily within assigned ACG branch locations. Use thorough knowledge of product features and sales techniques to achieve established sales goals. Develop leads and prospects through outbound/inbound calls, mailings, referrals, networking, website, seminars, etc. Prepare proposals and close sales of Life, Health, Annuity, Membership, and Financial Services products. Complete applications, forms and follow internal processing procedures to ensure compliance with company policies. Collaborate with branch colleagues to reach business goals, maximize leads and sales opportunities, and cross‑sell products. Assist Underwriting and Brokerage Departments with required documentation. Respond to customer inquiries and maintain sound sales practices. Prepare reports documenting prospecting and sales activities and maintain specified production standards and persistency levels. Seek high talent, reward performance and hold ourselves accountable. Qualifications Possession of a valid State Life Sales license. Ability to take and pass LUTC or CLU coursework. Maintain required Life and Health licenses. Valid State driver’s license. Qualify for, obtain and maintain all applicable state licenses and appointments for selling/servicing Auto Club Group Membership products. High school diploma or equivalent. Minimum of 2 years’ experience successfully soliciting and selling life insurance products. Experience selling intangible products. Strong knowledge of Life Insurance and Annuity products and services. Excellent listening, analysis, communication, and proposal skills. Ability to perform mathematical calculations for premiums and product values. Strong relationship building, prospecting, and sales meeting skills. Independent work with minimal supervision and strong organizational, planning and time‑management skills. Proficient computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, email). Capacity to travel in a private vehicle to meetings and community events. Work Environment Temperature‑controlled office setting. Limited travel for community events with exposure to road hazards and temperature extremes.
