Junior Front End Developer, AI ApplicationsParsons is seeking a Junior Front End Developer, AI Applications to join our team in the Denver office. This onsite role is ideal for an early-career developer who is passionate about building intuitive, responsive user interfaces and has a foundational understanding of artificial intelligence applications.The ideal candidate will have experience with Python and JavaScript, along with familiarity in modern front-end and UI development tools such as PyQT, ReactJS, Dash, Streamlit, or other relevant frameworks. This position offers the opportunity to support the development of interactive applications that help translate complex technical and AI-driven capabilities into user-friendly solutions.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, test, and maintain front-end components for internal and client-facing applicationsCollaborate with software engineers, AI/ML engineers, and product stakeholders to create intuitive user experiencesBuild dashboards, visualizations, and interactive interfaces for data-driven and AI-enabled applicationsSupport integration of front-end applications with back-end services and APIsAssist in developing desktop or web-based applications using tools such as ReactJS, Dash, Streamlit, or PyQTParticipate in code reviews, debugging, and performance optimization effortsContribute to UI/UX improvements based on user feedback and project requirementsWrite clean, maintainable, and well-documented codeStay current with emerging front-end technologies and trends related to AI-enabled productsRequired QualificationsBachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related technical field or equivalent experience.2+ years of related professional experience.Professional, internship, academic, or project-based experience in front-end or full-stack developmentWorking knowledge of Python and JavaScriptFamiliarity with one or more of the following: PyQT, ReactJS, Dash, Streamlit, or similar front-end frameworksUnderstanding of basic AI/ML concepts and interest in building interfaces for AI-driven applicationsKnowledge of HTML, CSS, and responsive design principlesAbility to work onsite in the Parsons Denver officeStrong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skillsPreferred QualificationsExperience developing dashboards, data visualization tools, or analytics interfacesExposure to REST APIs and integration between front-end and back-end systemsFamiliarity with Git and collaborative development workflowsExperience with UI/UX design tools or wireframingUnderstanding of how users interact with AI systems and how to present outputs clearly and effectivelyInternship or project experience supporting software applications in a team environmentFamiliarity with perception, computer vision, or applied MLFamiliarity with Azure Machine Learning, Roboflow, or creating AI workflowsWhat You'll BringA strong interest in front-end development and emerging AI technologiesA user-centered mindset with attention to detailWillingness to learn from senior engineers and contribute to a collaborative teamEnthusiasm for solving technical challenges and building impactful applicationsWhy Join ParsonsAt Parsons, you'll be part of a mission-driven team working on innovative solutions that help solve complex challenges.
