Job Description: Day 3x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:30) ***Please provide interview availability for the next 3-4 days when subbing*****Must be predominantly 3/4 in Neuro skillsets***Bi-Weekly OrientationOperating Room RN - Day shift with possible night shift rotation There is a possibility for off-shifting (1-3 shifts in a week) once every 4-week scheduling period, but there are a lot of times there is no off-shiftingWeeknight call requirements: 1-2 nights/week on averageWeekend call requirements: Approx. every 4-5 weeks (24 hours Saturday OR Sunday, 1-2 days/month)***Block schedule CANNOT be accommodated***2 years of OR RN experience requiredBLS requiredFirst time travelers NOT acceptedExperience with a majority following cases is required: Lap chole, Lap appy, Ex lap, I&D, Bariatric, Colorectal, PEG & Trach, DaVinci casesDaVinci experience highly preferredOncology, Ortho, Neuro experience HIGHLY preferred100% NICOTINE FREE FACILITYOR/SPT: Scrubs are provided by the facilityNebraska Medical Center - Nebraska Medical Center (NMC) is the No. 1 rated hospital in the Omaha metro area and the state of Nebraska. If their shift is extended due to census or a case running over, they will be paid at their regular rate until they go into overtime. They should not be clocking out and back in for any shifts that run over or are extended.Please be aware that travelers are not paid the same as Core staff members at Nebraska Medicine as Core staff are incentivized differently. The Core Staff policy does not apply to travelers and travelers will only be paid call-back when placed on-call after their shift has ended; they have left the facility, and are called-back. If they have questions while on assignment, please direct them to their agency to discuss their pay.
