Job Quick Facts: • Specialty: Emergency Medicine-NP/PA • Job Type: Locum Tenens • Facility Location: Portage, WI • Service Setting: Inpatient • Reason For Coverage: Supplemental • Coverage Period: Jul 6 - Ongoing • Shifts needed to be filled: - Jul 6, 8, 9-11, 14, 22 & 30 • Coverage Type: Clinical only • Shift Schedule: 9a-9p & 11a-11p - 8-12 shifts per month; 12-hr shifts • Patient Volume: 20 - 40-60 patients in 24 hrs (ED/UC setting) • Support Staff: 4 RNs, 1 MA, 2 APPs, 1 Office Staff • Physicians in Practice: General Surgery, Orthopedics, L&D & a collaborative Hospitalist team. • Trauma Level: IV • EMR: Epic • Beds in the Dept: 13 • Other Info: - 30 minutes from tourist areas - With Telestroke & Tele ICU services that we utilize to support care as well as a UW helicopter on site. • Temporary Privileges Available: Yes • Travel, lodging, & malpractice insurance covered Requirements: • Active WI License or IMLC • BC • ACLS, PALS
