Sign On Bonus AvailablePosition SummaryThe Ophthalmic Technician will assist the Ophthalmologist with diagnostic and treatment-oriented procedures and administrative tasks under the general guidance of the Practice Manager and Physician.Education RequirementsHigh school diploma or equivalent and completion of an approved program for Ophthalmology Assistants (COA, COT, COMT).ExperiencePrevious experience in an ophthalmology office.SkillsCompletion of an approved program for Ophthalmology Assistants (COA, COT, COMT)BCLS certification preferredUnderstanding of the operations of a medical practice preferred.
