We are currently seeking dependable and professional Unarmed Security Guards to work an outdoor religious community event in Lakewood, New Jersey.

Job Description

As an Unarmed Security Officer, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and welcoming environment for event attendees. Officers will provide a visible security presence, assist with crowd management, monitor designated areas, and respond appropriately to incidents while maintaining a calm and professional demeanor.

This position requires excellent communication skills, strong situational awareness, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Responsibilities

Maintain a professional and visible security presence throughout the event

Monitor assigned posts and patrol designated areas

Assist with crowd control and pedestrian traffic management

Provide directions and customer service to guests and event staff

Observe and report suspicious activity or safety concerns

De-escalate situations using verbal communication whenever possible

Enforce event rules and client policies professionally and respectfully

Coordinate with supervisors and local emergency personnel when necessary

Complete incident reports if required

Remain alert and attentive for the duration of the assignment

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Must have reliable transportation to and from Lakewood, NJ
• Must arrive 15 minutes prior to shift start
• Must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods while working outdoors
• Ability to remain calm and professional in high-traffic environments
• Must be dependable, punctual, and maintain a positive attitude
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
• Previous security, military, law enforcement, or customer service experience is preferred but not required

Dress Code (Mandatory)

• Black collared button-up shirt
• Black pants
• Black shoes

Professional appearance and good grooming standards are required.
