Ironworker 3Location: Tempe, AZ, US, 85281Role Summary: The Ironworker 3 will be responsible for performing increasingly complex structural steel and other miscellaneous tasks on a variety of construction projects including new construction, renovations, and other project types. Ironworkers utilize a variety of tools and specialized equipment. Duties may include erecting structural steel and bolting beams, columns and other components together. In addition, this role will perform occasional administrative work in support of project leadership. Role responsibilities are not all encompassing as specific work tasks, project types, and build phases drastically vary. This is a broad representation of the type of tasks and requirements required of Ironworkers at JE Dunn. All activities will be performed in support of the strategy, vision and values of JE Dunn.Autonomy and Decision-Making: Follows directions and refers all exceptions to supervisor. Career Path: Trade Foreman 1Key Role Responsibilities - CoreUtilizes knowledge of ironworking practices and toolsHandles structural components of buildings including beams, columns and other related itemsAssists in repairing or modifying structural and miscellaneous steel as needed under direction from foremen or project leadershipPlaces structural members under supervision ensuring safe and consistent practices are followedInstalls and fastens metal decking for floors, and roofsResponsible for Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) compliance and following OSHA standardsAdheres to JE Dunn safety standardsRole requires personal ownership of all necessary hand tools and pouchesExpected behavioral standards: Shows up and is ready to work when scheduled.
