You Are
You see the whole picture when others see silos. While most marketers focus on a single product or technology, you understand how RTL design connects to IP integration, how chip verification flows into system-level analysis, and how multi-physics simulation enables hardware-software co-design. You have spent your career in the space where silicon meets systems, and you know that the companies winning today are the ones who can move seamlessly across that continuum.
You have been in enough rooms with chip architects, systems engineers, and C-level executives to know that they care about different things-and you can tell a story that lands with all of them. You can take a complex end-to-end workflow spanning EDA tools, Silicon IP, system verification, and simulation, and turn it into a narrative that makes a VP of Engineering at a hyperscaler or automotive OEM say, "this is exactly what we need to solve."
You do not need a team to make an impact. As a senior individual contributor, you thrive on being the strategic thinker and executor who can define a solutions marketing strategy, build the messaging frameworks, create the content, and work across Product Management, Sales, Engineering, and Corporate Marketing to bring it to market. You have done this before in EDA, semiconductor, IP, or systems design, and you are ready to do it at a scale that spans the entire silicon-to-system journey.
At Synopsys, you will shape how the market understands our integrated capabilities across data center infrastructure, automotive systems, AI acceleration, and the Synopsys-Ansys ecosystem. This is not about marketing a single tool. This is about positioning Synopsys as the only company that can take customers from chip design through system-level innovation.
What You'll Be Doing
Define and Drive Silicon-to-System Solutions Marketing Strategy
- Own the development and execution of comprehensive solutions marketing strategies that integrate EDA tools, Silicon IP, Systems Design & Verification platforms, and Simulation technologies into cohesive, customer-facing narratives
- Build go-to-market plans that demonstrate Synopsys' unique ability to enable seamless workflows from RTL design and IP integration through system-level analysis, multi-physics simulation, and digital twin modeling
- Lead cross-portfolio initiatives that showcase integrated solutions for high-impact domains including data center infrastructure, automotive systems, AI acceleration, multi-die chiplet ecosystems, and digital transformation use cases
Develop Messaging and Positioning That Cuts Through Complexity
- Create clear, compelling solutions messaging frameworks that articulate both technical differentiation and business value for diverse audiences-from chip architects and systems engineers to executives and procurement teams
- Translate complex capabilities spanning silicon design, IP reuse, system integration, and simulation into narratives that resonate with semiconductor companies, systems OEMs, and hyperscalers
- Position Synopsys as the thought leader in silicon-to-system innovation through industry events, keynote presentations, customer forums, and media engagement
Lead Market Intelligence and Customer Insight Development
- Conduct deep market analysis, competitive intelligence, and customer research across silicon design, IP integration, system verification, and simulation markets
- Identify and translate emerging trends-AI-driven design automation, autonomous systems, electrification, chiplet architectures, virtual prototyping, hardware-software co-design-into actionable marketing strategies
- Bring the voice of the customer into product planning, ensuring solutions align with real-world design challenges and market opportunities
Create High-Impact Content That Drives Demand
- Lead the creation of solution briefs, whitepapers, case studies, webinars, presentations, and digital content that showcase end-to-end design flows and the value of integrated Synopsys capabilities
- Develop customer success stories and advocacy programs that demonstrate measurable outcomes across silicon design, IP integration, system verification, and simulation
- Partner with Global Marketing & Communications to activate content through integrated campaigns, digital marketing, and demand generation programs
Enable Sales and Drive Revenue Growth
- Equip sales teams with tools, training, competitive battle cards, and collateral that help them articulate the value of silicon-to-system solutions in strategic deals
- Support key customer engagements, executive briefings, and technical presentations, demonstrating how Synopsys' EDA, IP, Systems, and Simulation portfolios solve complex, multi-domain challenges
- Accelerate pipeline growth by providing sales with differentiated messaging and proof points that shorten sales cycles and increase win rates
Collaborate Across the Organization
- Partner deeply with Product Management and Engineering across EDA, IP, Systems, and Simulation business units to align solutions with customer needs and market opportunities
- Work with Sales and Field Marketing to drive customer engagement, pipeline development, and revenue in key accounts and verticals
- Collaborate with Corporate Strategy to ensure solutions marketing aligns with company-wide priorities, including the integration of Synopsys and Ansys capabilities

- Your solutions marketing strategies will define how the market understands Synopsys' silicon-to-system capabilities, directly influencing product adoption, customer engagement, and revenue growth across EDA, IP, Systems, and Simulation portfolios
- The messaging and positioning you create will enable sales teams to win competitive deals in high-growth markets like data center, automotive, AI, and multi-die systems, shortening sales cycles and increasing win rates
- Your market intelligence and customer insights will inform product roadmaps and strategic decisions, ensuring Synopsys invests in solutions that matter most to customers
- The content and thought leadership you drive will establish Synopsys as the definitive leader in silicon-to-system innovation, influencing how semiconductor companies, systems OEMs, and hyperscalers approach their most complex design challenges
- Your work will accelerate the integration and market positioning of Synopsys-Ansys capabilities, unlocking new opportunities in multi-physics simulation, system-level analysis, and digital twin modeling
- As a senior individual contributor, you will set the standard for solutions marketing excellence at Synopsys, demonstrating what strategic, cross-portfolio marketing looks like in a complex, technical organization
What You'll Need
Required:
- 12+ years of experience in solutions marketing, product marketing, or related roles within the semiconductor, EDA, IP, systems design, or simulation industries
- Deep domain expertise in one or more areas: EDA (RTL design, synthesis, verification, physical design), Silicon IP (processor, interface, memory, security, analog/mixed-signal), Systems Design & Verification (virtual prototyping, hardware-software co-design), or Simulation (multi-physics, system-level analysis, digital twin)
- Proven track record leading go-to-market strategies for complex, silicon-to-system solutions in high-growth markets such as data center, automotive, AI, and multi-domain system integration
- Strong strategic thinking with the ability to translate technical capabilities spanning silicon design, IP integration, system-level verification, and simulation into compelling business value
- Excellent communication, presentation, and storytelling skills for both technical and executive audiences, with experience presenting to C-level stakeholders
- Demonstrated ability to work independently as a senior individual contributor, driving strategy and execution without direct reports
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, business, marketing, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred
Preferred:
- Experience marketing integrated solutions that span chip design (EDA), IP integration, system-level verification, multi-domain simulation, and hardware-software co-design
- Familiarity with Synopsys and Ansys product portfolios, including tools and IP for silicon design, verification, IP integration, system simulation, and multi-physics analysis
- Strong executive presence and ability to engage with C-level customers, partners, and industry influencers at companies like hyperscalers, automotive OEMs, and leading semiconductor firms
- Experience with digital marketing, demand generation, content marketing, and data-driven marketing strategies
- Passion for innovation, emerging technologies, and customer success

- You can look at a product portfolio spanning EDA, IP, Systems, and Simulation and immediately see the three use cases that will resonate most with customers in automotive, data center, or AI markets
- You are comfortable being the expert in the room, whether you are presenting to a field applications engineer, a chip architect, or a CTO, and you adjust your message without losing technical credibility
- You do not wait for consensus to move forward-you build the strategy, create the content, and drive execution, pulling in the right stakeholders as you go
- You push back when a go-to-market plan is too product-centric or a message does not connect to real customer pain points, and you do it in a way that builds alignment, not friction
- You know the difference between a feature launch and a solutions campaign, and you can coach cross-functional teams on how to think in terms of customer outcomes, not just capabilities
- You move fast without sacrificing quality, making decisions with the information you have and adjusting as you learn, rather than waiting for perfect clarity that never comes
The Team You'll Be Part Of
You will join Synopsys' Corporate Marketing organization, working closely with Product Management, Engineering, Sales, Corporate Strategy, and Global Marketing & Communications. As a senior individual contributor, you will have the autonomy to define and execute solutions marketing strategies that span multiple business units, with the support and collaboration of talented teams across the company. This is a high-visibility role where your work will directly influence how Synopsys goes to market with its most strategic, integrated offerings.
