Join Our Caring CommunityAs a Medical Assistant you will be the first contact for patient care, responsible for administrative tasks in addition to patient care. Working onsite in a clinical environment and reporting to the Center Administrator you will perform varied activities and moderately complex administrative, operational, and customer support assignments.As a Medical Assistant you will perform clinical tasks such as:Documenting patient symptoms in EMRTaking and recording vital signsAdministering injectionsPerforming diagnostic testsCollecting specimens and drawing bloodSterilizing equipmentMaintaining examination roomsRequired Qualifications:Successful completion of MA school/training program or a Certified/Registered Medical Assistant or 5+ years of experience and approval from Provider1+ years of MA experiencePhlebotomy experienceMedication/vaccine administration experienceCPR CertifiedOther Qualifications:Certified or RegisteredValue-based Care experience includes knowledge of HEDIS, CPT/ICD coding, and CAHPS/HOS Patient ExperienceBilingual proficiency in English and SpanishWork Hours: Monday – Friday 8:00 to 5:00Location: Onsite at CenterWell Senior Primary Care officeThis role is considered patient facing and is part of Humana's Tuberculosis (TB) screening program.
