Accounts Receivable ClerkThe Accounts Receivable Clerk is responsible for managing, tracking, and maintaining incoming payments and outstanding invoices for a company. This position involves meticulous record-keeping, effective communication with clients, and the ability to navigate various accounting software. The role requires attention to detail and strong organizational skills to ensure that accounts are managed accurately and efficiently.Accounts Receivable Clerk Responsibilities:Prepare, post, verify, and record customer payments and transactions related to accounts receivable.Create and send out invoices and statements to customers.Follow up on overdue payments and resolve any billing issues.Update and maintain customer files and accounting records.Reconcile account discrepancies by obtaining and investigating information from sales, trade promotions, customer service departments, and from customers.Generate regular reports to summarize the status of customer accounts and outstanding receivables.Accounts Receivable Clerk Qualifications & SkillsExperience with QuickBooks Desktop softwarePrevious experience in an accounts receivable or similar financial role.Familiarity with general accounting principles and procedures.Strong communication and customer service skills.Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.High school diploma or equivalent.Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly OutlookStrong attention to detail and accuracy.Good organizational and time management skills.Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with both internal and external parties.Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $22.00 - $24.00
