Regional Food Safety Systems Manager

NOAM Regional Food Safety Manager Reporting to the Head of Quality for North America, the NOAM Regional Food Safety Manager will maintain regional Food Safety Management Systems, develop Training and Knowledge Sharing Programs, coordinate audit programs, and manage Food Safety System reviews, vendor and raw material quality programs, and review Quality and Food Safety performance. Salary expectation based on technical experience: $92,000 - $130,000 USD. Location: One of the North America sites (Cincinnati, Devon, Chicago, New Jersey). Responsibilities Develop and maintain global and regional Food Safety Management Systems. Define and maintain regional guidelines, validate with partners. Coordinate and assist regional implementation, change management, and monitor progress. Evaluate regional customer requirements and industry trends. Develop go-forward programs to meet customer and industry standards. Foster regional implementation and audit compliance, especially for new acquisitions. Maintain framework for quality document management (regulated documents). Develop gap assessments and feasibility studies for new standard requirements (e.g., ISO, FSSC 22000, internal standards). Establish and review training material at regional level. Provide, support, and facilitate training for Food Safety specific to Givaudan internal standards for sites and auditors. Facilitate knowledge and best practice sharing on Food Safety in the region. Establish Food Safety Expert Network in the Region and support global food safety network. Define and maintain internal audit program following certified standards (FSSC 22000, Halal, GMO, Responsible Sourcing) and conduct audits. Define format and establish regular Food Safety Management Reviews at regional level. Define regional KPIs and tracking through tailored scorecards or dashboards. Regularly update on food safety trends and improvement efforts to NOAM and Global Food Safety. Provide food safety focus areas to regional Operations Management team (CAPEX). Assist maintenance and evaluate trends in Raw Material Monitoring and suggest priorities. Support and participate in vendor audits. Provide support in response to food safety related issues and crisis events. Required Qualifications Business or technical university degree at least at bachelor level. Related experience of 5+ years, at least 3 years in an equivalent position. Solid project management skills. Understanding of food safety management systems. Broad knowledge of order fulfillment, brief management, regulatory and innovation processes. Understanding of manufacturing technologies and product characteristics with experience in dynamic high-complexity industries (SKUs, demand fluctuations, MTO, high innovation, rapid development cycles). Knowledge of main IT systems (e.g., Atlas, Athena, FPR, SAP, compliance engine, PII, GSD, RMQ, QDMS, IQT). Additional Qualifications Flavor industry experience. What We Can Offer You Healthcare plan.
