RN - Dialysis

Schedule This is a full-time position, working 40 hours per week with an every other weekend and rotating holidays schedule. There is an on‑call schedule split within the team, averaging 3-4 days per month and one weekend per month. Job Description We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for our Inpatient Acute Dialysis unit. The RN will utilize the nursing process and collaborate with interdisciplinary team members in providing care for patients. This role entails administering prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with approved nursing techniques, policies, and procedures, as well as documenting according to standards of care. Responsibilities Develop, initiate, and execute individualized patient plans of care as prescribed by the physician and/or hospital policy, including patient and family instruction. Participate in department or unit performance improvement activities, which may include shared governance. Utilize clinical expertise and guidance to support other units/departments in the patient's longitudinal plan of care. Apply critical thinking regarding patient safety and experience, and elevate issues through the appropriate chain of command when necessary.
