The ideal candidates should have a background in engineering, ideally in seating, general assembly or welded assembly.Requirements of the Advanced Manufacturing EngineerBSME or similar degree required5+ years of experience in an automotive manufacturing environmentKnowledge of APQP, PPAP, PFMEA & Control PlansExperience with automotive interior or seating systems preferredPLEX experience a plusExperience with general assembly or welded assembly processes a plusBenefits of the Advanced Manufacturing EngineerCompetitive salaryAdvancement potentialFull timePaid time offMedical / Dental / VisionProfit Sharing & Pension plansResponsibilities of the Advanced Manufacturing EngineerLead manufacturing process development for new seating programs from concept through production launch.Develop manufacturing process flows, work instructions, PFMEA, control plans, and standardized work documentation.Design and implement assembly processes for seat structures, foam, trim, mechanisms, and final seat assembly.Specify, source, and validate manufacturing equipment, tooling, fixtures, and automation systems.Coordinate equipment installation, commissioning, runoff, and production readiness activities.Conduct process capability studies and ensure manufacturing processes meet customer quality requirements.Support APQP activities, including Process Flow Diagrams, PFMEA, Control Plans, Run-at-Rate, and PPAP submissions.If you are a high performer and would like to work for an equally high performing company and you think the above opportunity is appropriate for you, we invite you to submit your resume in Microsoft Word format to View email address on click.appcast.io treat all resumes with strict confidentiality.
