CT Technologist - Night Shift

This is a 13-week contract position.

Night shift, 4x10 hours (20:00 - 06:30), rotating weekends required.

The CT Technologist will perform a variety of imaging procedures in accordance with established protocols. This role involves the use of advanced imaging technology to provide high-quality scans while ensuring patient safety and comfort.

Responsibilities:

• Operate CT equipment to produce images for diagnosis and treatment.
• Administer contrast media as necessary for imaging studies.
• Maintain patient records and document procedures accurately in the electronic health record system (Epic).
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Follow radiation safety protocols to protect patients and staff.
• Assist in patient preparation and education regarding procedures.
• Perform other duties as required by the department.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum of 1 year's experience as a CT Technologist.
• Current BLS certification.
• Fluoroscopy permit and California state license required.
• ARRT certification in Radiography (ARRT R) is mandatory.
• Experience with 3D imaging techniques and various CT procedures is preferred.
