Production Worker

Job Title: Production Worker Job Description

The Production Worker supports daily manufacturing operations by inspecting materials, lifting and loading products, performing basic math to complete order tasks, and accurately retrieving and pulling metal materials to meet production requirements.

Responsibilities

• Inspect materials and finished products to ensure they meet quality and production standards.

• Lift, load, and move products and materials, including metal components, throughout the production area.

• Retrieve orders and pull the correct metal materials according to job specifications and production schedules.

• Perform basic math to verify quantities, measurements, and order accuracy.

• Assist with general production tasks such as packing, stacking, and organizing products.

• Support general labor activities on the production floor, including cleaning, organizing, and maintaining a safe work area.

• Work collaboratively with team members to meet daily production goals and deadlines.

• Follow all safety procedures and guidelines while operating in a manufacturing environment.

Essential Skills

• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs safely and repeatedly during the workday.

• Basic math skills to perform simple calculations related to orders and production tasks.

• Experience with general production or manufacturing work.

• Ability to perform inspection tasks to identify defects or inconsistencies in materials or products.

• Capability to perform general labor tasks such as packing, stacking, and material handling.

• Reliability and consistency in following instructions and completing assigned tasks.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Prior experience as a production helper, packer, or general laborer in a manufacturing environment.

• Comfort working with metal materials and handling various production tools or equipment.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

• Ability to work effectively as part of a production team.

Work Environment

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of SANTA FE SPRINGS, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.50 - $18.50/hr.
