About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join their team. The CFO will be responsible for directing the business operations, financial planning, and reporting for the organization. This includes strategic management of accounting and financial programs, oversight of treasury, budgeting, and financial analysis functions. The successful candidate will lead major projects with significant business impact, work closely with senior leadership and board members, and ensure the financial solvency of the organization. The CFO will also be a key player in understanding the financial implications of organizational strategy and operations, and will be expected to provide leadership and direction for all business operations services. Applicants for the CFO position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, with a minimum of 8-10 years' financial management experience, including at least 5 years in a supervisory role. A strong background in non-profit financial management and knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles is required. The role demands a leader with the ability to work independently, establish productive relationships at all levels, and demonstrate a commitment to the mission and values of the organization. The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree, CPA, or equivalent advanced degree or certification, and a proven track record of achieving objectives in collaboration with other functional areas.
