About the Role:
The Learning Experience #474 in Rosenberg, TX is looking for an enthusiastic and caring After School Program team member to join our growing family! This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of children by creating a fun, safe, and engaging after-school environment. - Supervise and engage children in structured after-school activities, homework help, and enrichment programs
- Plan and implement age-appropriate games, crafts, and educational activities
- Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming classroom environment
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians during pick-up and drop-off
- Monitor student behavior and enforce positive discipline strategies
- Support children with homework assignments and academic reinforcement
- Collaborate with fellow staff to ensure smooth daily program operations
- Experience working with school-age children in a childcare, education, or camp setting preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent required; early childhood education coursework a plus
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to maintain a patient, positive, and nurturing demeanor with children
- Must pass a background check in accordance with state childcare regulations
- CPR and First Aid certification preferred or willingness to obtain
- Reliable, punctual, and a true team player
