Technical Accounting Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Accounting Manager to join our dynamic accounting team. The successful candidate will play a key role in providing guidance on technical accounting matters, researching accounting issues, and implementing accounting policies and procedures to ensure accuracy and adherence to regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Provide guidance on complex technical accounting matters, including revenue recognition, leases, and financial instruments.
• Research and analyze accounting issues to ensure compliance with US GAAP and other regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess the impact of new accounting standards and provide recommendations to management.
• Implement accounting policies and procedures to ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements and disclosures in accordance with US GAAP.
• Support external audit activities, including the preparation of audit schedules and responses to audit inquiries.
• Stay abreast of changes in accounting standards and regulations and communicate impacts to stakeholders
• Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting and/or Masters in Accounting CPA required.
• Must have 8+ years progressive accounting with at least 4 years of recent technical accounting experience
• Big 4 or large regional public accounting experience
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and SEC reporting requirements.
• Experience working with ERP systems such as Workday, NetSuite, Oracle, SAP Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
