To excel in this role, you should bring forth a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or an equivalent credential obtained from an accredited program, along with state licensure and preferably a CPR certification. Specialized certifications in areas such as neurological or geriatric physical therapy can be advantageous but are not mandatory.
