Power BI Architect

Power BI & Data Modernization Lead (Part-Time / Full-Time | Advisory | Hybrid - Northeast Ohio)

We are working with a growing manufacturing organization seeking a senior-level Power BI Architect / Data Visualization Leader to modernize and standardize their analytics environment.

This is a high-visibility, part-time engagement working directly with executive leadership to:
• Standardize and redesign executive & operational Power BI dashboards
• Establish enterprise-wide data visualization standards
• Design a centralized "Golden Dataset"
• Implement Row-Level Security (RLS)
• Optimize performance and governance
• Modernize SharePoint sites into KPI-driven performance hubs
• Explore chatbot and predictive analytics capabilities (Phase 2)

Required Qualifications:

• 7+ years of Power BI development experience
• Strong expertise in:
  
  
  • Data modeling and DAX
  • Performance optimization
  • Row-Level Security (RLS)
  • Enterprise governance design
• Strong SQL skills
• Experience integrating Power BI with SharePoint Online
• Experience designing executive-ready dashboards (UI/UX focused)
• Experience working in ERP-driven or manufacturing environments
• Ability to operate in both advisory and hands-on capacity

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Infor Syteline / CloudSuite Industrial
• Experience with Salesforce data models
• Experience integrating UKG data
• Background in manufacturing analytics
• Experience designing "Golden Datasets"
• Experience with Power BI Premium Per User environments
• Exposure to AI-driven analytics, chatbot interfaces, or predictive modeling
