Hearing Care Advisor

Location: Eden Prairie, MN

Pay: $21.63/hour

Employment Type: Contract-to-Hire

Duration: 6 Months

Schedule: Full-Time

Position Overview

We are seeking customer-focused professionals to join a growing contact center team supporting members with hearing healthcare benefits and services. In this role, you will help individuals understand their coverage, locate providers, and navigate hearing healthcare resources while delivering an exceptional customer experience.

This is not a high-volume call center environment. Success is measured by providing thorough, empathetic support and ensuring members receive the information and assistance they need.

Responsibilities

• Answer inbound calls from members regarding hearing healthcare benefits and coverage
• Verify insurance eligibility and explain available benefits
• Assist members in locating in-network clinics and providers
• Provide information regarding provider networks and available services
• Transfer members to scheduling teams when appointment assistance is required
• Accurately document customer interactions and account updates
• Deliver exceptional customer service with professionalism and empathy

Qualifications

Required:

• High School Diploma or GED
• 2+ years of customer service experience

Preferred:

• 2+ years of call center/contact center experience
• Healthcare customer service experience
• Experience discussing insurance benefits or coverage
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to navigate multiple systems while assisting customers

Schedule

The contact center operates between 7:00 AM and 7:00 PM .

Current shift openings include:

• 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM
• 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM
• Flexibility between 7:00 AM and 7:00 PM preferred

Employees will be assigned a consistent schedule following training.

Training

• Paid training lasting approximately 4 to 6 weeks
• Hands-on learning and job shadowing
• Progressive onboarding based on individual readiness and performance

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.63 - $21.63/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
