CVOR Surgical Technologist - Travel Position

Location: Aurora, CO

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Shift: 7A - 5P

Job Description: We are seeking a skilled and experienced CVOR Surgical Technologist to join our dynamic Heart Team at the hospital's main operating room. The candidate will work as part of a highly efficient surgical team, contributing to cardiovascular procedures and ensuring patient care and safety at all times.

Responsibilities

• Assist surgeons and nursing staff during cardiovascular surgeries including CABG, AAA, TAVR, and valve replacements.
• Prepare operating rooms and maintain sterile environments.
• Manage surgical instruments and equipment effectively throughout procedures.
• Support patient care through effective communication with the surgical team.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1-year current acute care CVOR Tech hospital experience.
• BLS, DORA, and NBSTA Certifications required.
• Must have proficiency in open-heart surgical procedures.
• Preferred: Prior experience with Meditech and in large trauma facilities.
