CV Resources is partnering with a growing client in the services industry to identify a Senior Accounting Manager for a hybrid position near Tacoma, WA.

Senior Accounting Manager Compensation: $95K-$110K
Hybrid: 2 days onsite per week

Our client is seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Accounting Manager to join their accounting team. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on accounting professional who enjoys combining technical accounting expertise with team leadership, process improvement, and strategic financial support.

The Senior Accounting Manager will oversee accounting operations across multiple entities, ensuring accurate financial reporting, effective internal controls, and an efficient month-end close process.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the month-end close process and financial reporting for multiple entities.
• Review general ledger activity, account reconciliations, journal entries, and financial statements.
• Support treasury management, cash forecasting, banking activities, and financial analysis.
• Partner with operations leadership, ownership groups, auditors, and internal departments.
• Provide guidance, coaching, training, and workflow support to accounting team members.
• Assist with audits, tax-related support, compliance reporting, and other accounting initiatives.
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, documentation, automation, and internal controls.
• Help establish and maintain accounting best practices across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Strong experience with general ledger accounting, account reconciliations, month-end close, and financial statement preparation.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and proficiency with accounting software.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize competing deadlines and work independently.
• Previous experience providing leadership, coaching, training, or supervision is preferred.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively across multiple teams.
