Civil Litigation Legal Assistant / ParalegalTrueline's client, a well-established civil litigation law firm serving clients across Massachusetts and the surrounding region, is seeking a Civil Litigation Legal Assistant / Paralegal to join their team in Danvers, MA. This hybrid role is ideal for someone who can work independently, stay ahead of deadlines, and provide strong litigation support to busy attorneys handling active matters in state and federal court.What You'll Do as the Civil Litigation Legal Assistant / Paralegal:Provide day-to-day legal assistant and paralegal support to one or two attorneysPrepare, revise, and file court documents in state and federal courtDraft pleadings, discovery materials, correspondence, and routine motionsTrack deadlines, maintain calendars, and help move cases forward efficientlyOrganize and maintain electronic and physical case filesConduct legal research and gather supporting case materialsCoordinate with clients, courts, opposing counsel, and outside vendors as neededSupport attorneys with case preparation and overall litigation workflowMust-Haves as the Civil Litigation Legal Assistant / Paralegal:3-5 years of experience in a litigation support, legal assistant, or paralegal roleStrong civil litigation backgroundExperience with court filing procedures, including e-filingAbility to work independently with minimal oversightStrong drafting, proofreading, and organizational skillsComfortable managing multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environmentProfessional communication skills and sound judgmentNice-to-Haves as the Civil Litigation Legal Assistant / Paralegal:Experience supporting insurance defense or other defense-side litigation practicesFamiliarity with both Massachusetts state courts and federal court proceduresExperience supporting more than one attorney at a timeParalegal certificate or comparable hands-on litigation experiencePrior experience in a hybrid legal support environmentThis Role Offers:Salary range of $60,000-$75,000Hybrid work arrangementHealth insurance401(k) with company matchPaid time offParental leaveOpportunity to join a respected litigation team with consistent workflow and hands-on responsibility
