Family Law Paralegal

Overview

This role is with a well-respected law firm seeking an experienced Paralegal to provide comprehensive support to attorneys in the Family Law Department. This is an opportunity to apply paralegal expertise in a collaborative and professional environment while making a meaningful impact on client cases.

Compensation

Base pay range: $80,000.00/yr - $90,000.00/yr

Salary Range: $80K-$90K

Schedule: Full-time, 35 hours | Monday-Friday, 9-5

Key Qualifications

• 3+ years of paralegal experience ; Family Law experience preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Strong project management skills , well-organized, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities with attention to detail
• Ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbal
• Professional, reliable, and committed to delivering high-quality work
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively, fostering positive relationships with attorneys, clients, and staff

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare court-form financial statements and assemble discovery responses
• Draft correspondence , pleadings , notices , and motions
• Prepare various legal documents , including motions , interrogatories , requests for production of documents , proposed court orders, notices, forms, and subpoenas
• Review and maintain documents, transcripts, and case files
• Perform both in-person and electronic court filings
• Assist attorneys in all aspects of pre-trial, trial, and appellate litigation
• Conduct factual and legal research , compiling findings in a clear, concise, and organized manner
• Respond promptly and professionally to client inquiries
• Provide additional support for projects and administrative tasks as needed
