Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) / Home Health Aide (HHA)

Immediate Openings – South Miami-Dade & North Miami Beach

Home Instead is seeking compassionate and dependable Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) and Home Health Aides (HHAs) to provide quality in-home care and companionship to seniors throughout Miami-Dade County.

We are currently hiring CarePros for South Miami, North Miami, Miami Beach, Kendall, Homestead, and surrounding areas.

Requirements

Must be 21 years of age or older
Must speak fluent English
Current Florida HHA or CNA certification
Current required in-service training
Valid Florida Driver’s License ( learner’s permits are not accepted )
Reliable vehicle with current proof of insurance
Strong English communication skills, both spoken and written
Current CPR/BLS certification
Current Alzheimer’s training (4 hours)
HIPAA training
Domestic Violence training
OSHA/HIV/AIDS training
OSHA/Infection Control training
Universal Precautions training
Self-Administration of Medication training
Physical examination and TB test dated within the past 12 months
AHCA Level 2 Background Screening
Must successfully complete a pre-employment drug screening
Two professional references from CNA/HHA employment

Background Screening

This position is subject to Florida Level 2 background screening requirements through the Florida Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse.
