Production MIG Welder – Structural Welding
Job Type: Full-Time
Pay Rate: $20.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM
Location: Hewitt, TX
We are seeking a dependable Production MIG Welder to join our manufacturing team. This position focuses on structural MIG welding in a fast-paced production environment. The ideal candidate will have experience producing high-quality welds while meeting production and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities- Perform production MIG welding on structural steel components
- Read and interpret basic blueprints, weld symbols, and work instructions
- Set up and operate welding equipment according to specifications
- Ensure welds meet quality and structural standards
- Inspect completed welds and perform minor grinding or rework as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow all safety procedures and company policies
- Work efficiently to meet daily production goals
- Previous MIG welding experience in a production or manufacturing environment
- Experience performing structural welds preferred
- Ability to read a tape measure and basic blueprints
- Strong attention to detail and quality
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs as needed
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
This position is performed in a manufacturing/production setting. Candidates must be comfortable working on their feet for extended periods and around welding equipment, heat, and metal materials.
