MONDAY- THURSDAY 8:00 am - 5:00 pm FRIDAY 8:00 am - 4:00 pm Full-time, in-person position. Job Summary Villa's Construction & Remodeling Inc. is a luxury construction and remodeling company serving Boca Raton and Palm Beach County, specializing in high-end renovations, custom projects, and new construction. We are seeking a Bookkeeper Specialist to manage the day-to-day financial and accounting functions of our construction projects. Responsibilities include processing invoices and payments, payroll preparation, account reconciliation, job-cost tracking, monitoring project expenses and budgets, maintaining accurate financial records, and preparing financial reports. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and experienced in bookkeeping or accounting. Construction industry and job-costing experience is strongly preferred. This position works closely with project managers and leadership to maintain accurate financial reporting and help keep projects within budget. Responsibilities Communicate with customers, vendors, and subcontractors to ensure the accuracy of charges and payments in a professional manner Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, line wavers and developments Enter financial data and transactions Analyze budgets and other financial information Reconcile bank statements Prepare financial reports and statements Verify the accuracy of transactions that have been entered Process accounts payable and accounts receivable Create accounting policies to comply with all rules and regulations Process payroll Qualifications Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field Previous experience as an accountant, bookkeeper, or similar position Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) Good with spreadsheets, experienced in Microsoft Excel, QuickBooks, BuilderTrend and basic accounting systems Strong mathematical and analytical skills Excellent attention to detail, time management, and communication skills Bilingual is a plus Management and HR experience A+ #J-18808-Ljbffr Villa’s Construction & Remodeling Inc.
