TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Med/Surg / Tele RN in Bridgeport, Connecticut, 06610!

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical-Surgical/Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience required. License: Active nursing license required. Certifications: BLS preferred. Must-Have: Telemetry experience required. Description: Tele RN position available. Shifts are daytime, 3x12s from 07:00 to 19:30. Will float as needed to various departments. Post-operative care includes CABG, TAVR, General Surgery, Bariatric, and Thoracic cases. Every other weekend and holiday rotation required per department needs. Facility is a short-term acute care hospital with 426 staffed beds. Level II Trauma Center. Staffing ratios are 5 patients per nurse during the day. Interdisciplinary support includes IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, transportation, and unit secretary. Special procedures include pre/post cardiac surgery and hemodialysis management. Candidates must apply for licensure before submission. Local candidates are not accepted if they are within 75 miles of the facility. One reference is required for application. Travelers must have been gone for 2 years before returning. Modules must be completed pre-start and annually.
