Medical Director Physician

The client is seeking a Medical Director (Physician) to lead within a functional and integrative care model focused on addressing root causes of disease, preventing illness, and optimizing long-term patient health. This role combines clinical leadership with hands-on patient care for a physician who believes in whole-person care, prioritizing prevention, longevity, and personalized treatment over volume. Key responsibilities include delivering patient care grounded in functional and preventive medicine principles; overseeing clinical quality, safety, and consistency across the care team; and guiding personalized treatment plans, diagnostics, and therapies. The Medical Director will support and mentor nurse practitioners and clinical staff, serve as a clinical resource for complex cases, and help shape and refine care protocols that emphasize long-term outcomes, while partnering with leadership to support a scalable, thoughtful care model. Qualifications include an MD or DO with an active state license and board-certified or board-eligible status in internal medicine, family medicine, emergency medicine, or a related field.
