Travel Intensive Care RN | Washoe Valley, Nevada

With every shift, you'll collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, broaden your nursing skills, and observe innovative practices in patient-centered care. This role is ideal for RNs eager to enhance their resumes with high-acuity ICU experience, exposure to a variety of patient situations, and the flexibility of per-diem scheduling.


Schedule/Hours:

• 12-hour night shifts (7:00pm - 7:00am)
• Per-diem coverage; hours are variable with no guaranteed minimum

Qualifications:

• Current unrestricted RN license
• Minimum of 2 years ICU experience preferred
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Adaptability to fast-paced, changing environments
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities

Role Responsibilities:

• Deliver expert, compassionate care to critically ill patients in the ICU
• Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions, intervening as needed
• Collaborate closely with physicians, respiratory therapists, and support staff
• Participate in rapid responses and code situations
• Educate patients and their families regarding care plans and treatment protocols
• Maintain compliance with facility policies, state, and federal regulations
