Business Development Manager - Digital Solutions

Weatherford has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Business Development Manager to join the Digital Solutions Team in Houston, Texas. Job Overview: The Business Development Manager leads sales initiatives and manages high-value accounts, applying specialized expertise in oil and gas sales to achieve business objectives. Responsibilities:
- Lead functional sales teams or projects, providing strategic direction and oversight
- Develop and implement advanced sales strategies and best practices
- Mentor junior sales professionals, providing subject matter guidance and coaching
- Interpret internal and external business challenges, recommending best practices to improve products, processes, or services
- Influence customer and operational objectives, driving alignment with business goals
- Optimize sales processes for efficiency, scalability, and compliance
- Ensure adherence to industry standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies
- Demonstrated experience in the relevant discipline through one of the following:
- Bachelor's degree and 6+ years of related experience
- Equivalent professional experience and demonstrated expertise (Qualified by Experience)
- Experience with Scada, and production optimization solutions.
- Software experience (preferred): CygNet, Foresite, Petrovisor, Ecovisor
- Leadership:
- Own and drive the product line pipeline as defined by digital product line manager
- Work with product line manager to drive initiatives in improving product line gross margins, pricing strategies and business growth
- Strategize with the sales team to drive individual opportunities
- Strategize with the product line manager to drive strategic opportunities
- Work with other business development manager for cross-sell opportunities
- Functional Expertise: Applies specialized depth of expertise, leading teams in implementing best practices and achieving operational excellence
- Transformative Thinking: Identifies innovative solutions, champions large-scale change, and generates new approaches to complex problems
- Collaboration: Leads functional teams, influences and engages team members, and fosters collaboration across related teams
- Communication: Communicates strategically, articulates objectives, and evaluates complex content for clarity and impact
- Humility: Empowers others, stays grounded, and models authenticity in leadership and decision-making
- Simplification: Optimizes strategic processes, drives organizational innovation, and creates a culture of continuous improvement
- Curiosity: Promotes continuous learning, explores strategic opportunities, and nurtures diversity of thought within the team
- This role may require domestic and potentially international travel of up to: 10-25%
