CNC Machinist (Large-Parts) | 2nd Shift

CNC Machinist (Large-Parts)Our client is looking for a responsible CNC Machinist (large parts). This is a contract to permanent / direct placement position with our key manufacturing client. To be considered for this role, you will need a high school diploma or equivalent as well as 2-3 years of experience with CNC lathe / turning, CNC Swiss.Principle duties include:Setting up and operating CNC machining centersPerforming machine adjustments and troubleshooting controllers / machines / processesWorking from blueprint requirementsSelecting tools, setting feeds and speedsPerforming inspection of machined parts using precision hand toolsAble to work independently with minimal supervisionMust be able to lift up to 70 lbsOperates overhead cranes for large-part manufacturingMaintains a clean work environment and shop floor (tools, equipment, machines, etc.)Re-orders tools as neededRequirements:2-3 years of experience with CNC milling, CNC lathe / turning, CNC SwissHigh school diploma or GED or vocational school trainingMust be able to lift up to 70 lbsPerform inspection of machined parts using precision hand tools
