Ultrasound Technologist II (Variable)

Job Details Location: Orange, California; Shift: Evening – 10 hrs (United States of America). Job Summary The Ultrasound Technologist II performs diagnostic ultrasound procedures; calibrates and operates ultrasound equipment.Processes images and coordinates patient care with other patient services.Maintains patient records, keeps track of inventory, orders supplies, and maintains equipment in proper working order. Focuses on infant, children, and adolescent patients, and adults as needed.All imaging staff must address family and patient concerns to facilitate a Family Centered Care approach. Pay Range Minimum $45.72, Midpoint $60.58, Maximum $75.43. Experience Required: Minimum one (1) year of outpatient and/or acute care Ultrasound Technologist experience with six (6) months in a pediatric setting. Preferred: One (1) year of acute care Ultrasound Technologist experience in a pediatric inpatient hospital. Education Required: Graduate from an approved education program in Sonography. Licensure Required: American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) registered in one or more specialties; Basic Life Support (BLS). Preferred: Advanced certification for Pediatrics and/or Registered Vascular Sonographer (RVT).
