Position Title Mobile Technician Sr Location Hicksville, NY 11801 Job Summary A Senior Mobile Technician works under limited supervision and performs maintenance services and repairs in a complex, skilled area including but not limited to; plumbing, painting and plastering, machine servicing, electrical repairs and/or installations. Responsible for conducting daily inspections of property sidewalks and parking lots/grounds and performs minor repairs and maintenance to maintain a safe facility. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Performs routine site inspections to identify and take corrective action for potential safety concerns, referring more complex situations to higher levels. Assists others by performing a variety of routine manual labor tasks including but not limited to; lifting and moving materials, loading and unloading vehicles . May assist with office moves and staff relocation. Performs skilled work in general maintenance and minor repair of buildings and equipment including repairs, adjustments, and ongoing maintenance of facilities . Preserves appearance of facility by performing routine exterior cleaning of sidewalk and parking lot. Keeps facility and office safe from casualties by removing any obstruction, parcels or debris from walkways and doorways. Assesses maintenance and repair, referring complex situations to higher levels. Trains, assigns tasks, and provides guidance and leadership to lower level General Maintenance Technicians. Applies mastery of skills through procedures, technique, tools, materials, and/or equipment as appropriate to area of specialization. Conducts routine inspections to determine maintenance work required. Maintains, inspects and inventories a ll equipment to insure safe and efficient operation. May act as a liaison with outside vendor s. Requisitions new supplies and equipment. Compiles schedules for special assignments. Maintains knowledge of and performs all work in accordance with OSHA guidelines. Participates in internal and/or outside training as mandated by management. ADDITIONAL ACCOUNTABILITIES Performs special projects, and additional duties and responsibilities as required. C onsistently adhere s to regulatory and compliance policies and standards linked to the job as listed and complete required compliance trainings . Accountable to maintain compliance with applicable federal, state and local laws a n d regulations. JOB REQUIREMENTS Required Qualifications: Education level required : High School / High School Equivalency (GED, HiSET, TASC) / Foreign Equivalent . Minimum experience required : 4+ Years conducting building repair and maintenance work. Preferred Qualifications: Maintenance facilities experience in a senior or lead level capacity. Job Competencies: Comprehensive knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and HVAC. Knowledge of, and the ability to apply mastery of skills in procedures, techniques, tools, materials, and/or equipment as appropriate to area of specialization. Knowledge of safety procedures as related to maintenance functions. Knowledge of OSHA guidelines. Strong mechanical skills. Computer literate with basic proficiency in internet navigation, word processing, spreadsheet applications. Good communication , coordination, customer service and leadership skills. Must possess a valid driver's license with a good driving record. Ability to drive a company-owned vehicle to various geographic locations as assigned. Ability to read and interpret blueprints. Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs unassisted or assisting others (with or without) using mechanical equipment. Ability to work in an environment with exposure to dust, dirt and various weather conditions. Ability to occasionally work outside and operate seasonal equipment ( e.g. snow blower, grass cutter, gas generators). Ability to work "on-call" and/or a flexible schedule as necessary. Expected to travel to corporate offices and/or branch locations in assigned footprint Demonstrates a strong ability to build and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders by communicating clearly, engaging in proactive collaboration, and leveraging cross functional insights.
