Business Analyst

Akkodis is seeking a Business Analyst for a Contract job with a client in Raleigh, NC . The ideal candidate must have strong experience in Supply Chain & Procurement, Business Analysis, SQL, Tableau, and Python, along with the ability to bridge business operations and technical teams.

Rate Range: $38/hour to $60/hour ; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Business Analyst job responsibilities include:

• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements, functional requirements, user stories, BRDs, and FRDs to support supply chain and procurement initiatives.
• Perform data analysis using SQL, Tableau, and Python to identify business trends, operational insights, and process improvement opportunities.
• Develop quantitative models, executive dashboards, and reporting solutions that support procurement, sourcing, and supply chain decision-making.
• Collaborate with procurement, supply chain, business, and technical teams to define future-state processes and support enterprise transformation initiatives.
• Lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT), requirements validation, defect management, and solution acceptance activities.
• Support software, ERP, and data platform implementations across global business operations, including SAP and Oracle environments.
• Leverage Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), and AI-assisted workflows to improve reporting, analysis, and business insights.
• Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders, procurement leaders, data engineering teams, and IT organizations to ensure successful project delivery.

Desired Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Information Technology, Engineering, Data Analytics, or a related field.
• 8-10+ years of experience as a Business Analyst supporting supply chain, procurement, or enterprise transformation initiatives.
• Strong expertise in:
  
  • Business Analysis, Requirements Gathering, Process Mapping, User Stories, UAT Management, Business Process Improvement.
• Advanced experience with: SQL, Tableau, Python, Data Analysis, Dashboard Development, Quantitative Modeling.
• Strong understanding of: Strategic Sourcing, Procure-to-Pay (P2P), Purchase Order , Management, Material Requirements Planning (MRP), Supplier Performance Management, Inventory Optimization.
• Experience supporting ERP implementations and large-scale enterprise system deployments.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience utilizing Generative AI, LLMs, Prompt Engineering, and AI-powered analytics solutions .
• Knowledge of SAP, Oracle, or enterprise supply chain platforms.
• Experience with dimensional data modeling, including Star and Snowflake schema designs.
• Experience working with enterprise data warehouses and modern analytics ecosystems.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and manage multiple complex projects simultaneously.

Pay Details: $38.00 to $60.00 per hour
