The Project Manager role involves both client-facing and team-facing responsibilities and has tremendous growth potential.Your Key ResponsibilitiesForecast and organize project team for design, development, production and project document delivery;Coordinate with consultants, team members and the client;Successfully execute projects by following Stantec's and Owner’s protocols and procedures in order to reach the best solution;Develop strong client, consultant and collaborator relationships;Understand budget, code and jurisdictional requirements;Provide mentorship and guidance to project teams;Collaborate on project fee development and project proposals;Your Capabilities and CredentialsExperience with multiple project sizes, with a concentration in large and complex projects;Skilled in architecture and detailing as well as proficient in construction administrative processes;Proven effectiveness coordinating with contractors, architectural teams, and consultants;Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite;Requires understanding of project software: Revit, Bluebeam, MS Project, etc.Successful at leading and organizing a team of multiple disciplines and consultants;Confident with public speaking and networking;Excellent writing skills;Analytical thinker with strong problem-solving skills;Detail oriented and organized with proven experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously;Available for occasional travel within the US.Education and ExperienceA minimum of 10 years of professional experience in complex civic projects.Degree in architecture from an accredited university.Must be licensed in California or attainable within one year.DBIA certification preferred.This description is not a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that may be required of the employee and other duties, responsibilities and activities may be assigned or may be changed at any time with or without notice.About StantecStantec is a global leader in sustainable engineering, architecture, and environmental consulting. Please note, the final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. At Stantec certain roles are bonus eligible.
