Tired of kitchens that treat line cooks like a number on a schedule? Clara B's Kitchen Table is a scratch kitchen — no shortcuts, no shortcuts culture, no BS. We make everything by hand, we take the food seriously, and we take care of the people who make it. If you're the kind of cook who takes pride in what comes off your station — who cares whether the sauce is right, whether the timing is tight, whether the plate looks the way it should — this post is for you. We're not looking for someone to fill a slot. We're looking for someone who wants to be part of something worth showing up for.
What the work looks like
- Scratch prep and line service — everything made in-house, every day
- Multiple stations: grill, sauté, cold line, bakehouse support as needed
- Follow recipes and plating standards, while bringing your own craft to the work
- Keep your station tight, clean, and food-safe — always
- Be part of a team that actually communicates and has each other's backs
What we're looking for
- 1+ year of line cook or kitchen experience — more is great, hunger counts for a lot
- Solid knife skills and confidence with basic and intermediate techniques
- Ability to stay composed and communicate clearly when service gets real
- Team-first. Ego stays at the door.
- You care about the food. That's not optional.
