At EYECARE for You, we are a private practices with 2 locations, Richboro and Newtown. We are a high tech office and strive to proceed patients with the best and latest technologies at the point of examination and with lens designs. The Optician plays a key role in a small team of 1-3 professionals, supporting retail eyewear sales by expertly assisting customers with frame selection and lens fitting. This position involves hands-on lens measurement, prescription verification, and frame adjustment using manual processing and basic software tools to ensure accurate eyewear dispensing and high customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Measure lenses accurately and verify prescriptions
- Assist customers with frame selection and lens fitting
- Adjust frames to ensure comfortable wear
- Provide consultations and educate customers on eyewear options
- Manage inventory and process sales efficiently
- Ensure attention to detail in eyewear dispensing
- Maintain effective communication within a small team environment
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year experience in opticianry
- High school diploma or equivalent
Preferred Qualifications
- Certified Optician (CO) license
- Proficiency in lens fitting and frame adjustment
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Experience in eyewear dispensing and sales
- Exceptional attention to detail
