Work Environment\n

This role is fully remote, allowing you the flexibility to provide support and therapy to students while working from the comfort of your own home. You will primarily interface with school staff, parents, and clients via secure digital communication platforms, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations. Your work hours will be Monday to Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, providing a balanced working schedule that complements your personal life.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough initial assessments for students experiencing emotional and psychological challenges, establishing a comprehensive understanding of their strengths, weaknesses, and specific needs.

• Utilize a variety of therapeutic modalities tailored to individual student needs, incorporating evidence-based practices such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy.

• Identify and implement specific psychological interventions aimed at helping students achieve their personal goals, enhancing their emotional wellbeing and academic success.

• Provide one-on-one and family counseling sessions to address issues affecting students' mental health and academic performance, fostering a supportive and caring environment.

• Offer vocational guidance and coaching, helping students explore potential career paths and building skills for their future.

• Collaborate with educational staff and other community resources to ensure comprehensive care and support networks are available for students.

• Implement crisis intervention strategies effectively, providing immediate support and documentation when necessary, ensuring students’ safety and wellbeing.

• Maintain active communication with families, offering over-the-phone support when appropriate, making yourself readily accessible during times of crisis or concern.

• Ensure compliance with all state licensure requirements and maintain current credentials as mandated by Pennsylvania state regulations.

• Actively participate in treatment team meetings, providing insights and feedback regarding student progress and collaboration on treatment planning.

Qualifications\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
