What You'll Do

• Provide advanced nursing care to neonatal patients within the NICU setting using the Nursing Process
• Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans
• Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians and ancillary staff
• Communicate clearly with families, providing education and support
• Document patient care accurately and maintain compliance with hospital policies and regulations
• Lead and delegate responsibilities to licensed and ancillary team members when appropriate
• Stay current with federal, state, and local laws that impact neonatal care standards

What You Need

• Current Louisiana RN license
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred; Associates degree required
• Minimum 2 years of NICU or neonatal intensive care experience
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association
• Neonatal Resuscitation Certification (NRP) preferred
• Strong organizational and judgment skills; excellent interpersonal communication skills
