Phlebotomy Site Coordinator
$24 - $31 per hourLabcorp
Labcorp seeks a Phlebotomy Site Coordinator for a patient service center in Laguna Hills, California. The role combines clinical phlebotomy with site management, including specimen collection, patient flow monitoring, and administrative duties. Monday-Friday schedule with potential weekend and overtime requirements.
Responsibilities
- Perform blood collections using venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups
- Monitor patient flow, wait times, inventory levels and maintain information logs
- Report performance, compliance and staffing issues to supervisors
- Prepare collected specimens for testing and perform data entry accurately
- Address customer service issues and promote teamwork among staff
Requirements
- 2+ years phlebotomist experience
- High school diploma or GED
- California state phlebotomy license (CPT)
- Pass standardized color blindness test
- At least 21 years old with clean driving record
- Experience managing workflow in patient-centered environment
- Exceptional customer service skills
Compensation: $24.00 - $31.00 per hour
