Varied Shift - Sunday thru Saturday

Prior Experience Required

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:


• Interact positively and effectively with guest and co-workers


• Take drink orders and process accurate POS transactions


• Keep garnishes fresh and stocked

• Keep par levels of all liquor and bar supplies


• Stock, clean and rotate products as needed in all beverage areas


• Stock Liquor Cage with incoming products, keep area clean and inventory

• Assist Bartenders and Cocktails in keeping bar and lounge clean and organized


• Keep work area in compliance with health regulation and department procedures

• All other duties as assigned

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• Knowledge of standard drink recipes

• Knowledge of spirits, wine, and beer


• Knowledge of bar equipment


• Knowledge of Nevada health and alcohol regulations

• Requires the ability to follow directions from a supervisor

• Requires the ability to follow directions and procedures


• Strong organizational skills

PHYSICAL DEMANDS :


The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by the Employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk, see and hear. The employee is also regularly required to stand and/or walk for long periods at a time. The employee is regularly required to reach and lift with hands and arms, and occasionally required to climb or stoop. Employee must be able to lift, carry and push objects weighing up to 50 pounds.


Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

High School diploma or equivalent. A minimum of 6 months' experience working in a Bar environment preferred. Knowledge and ability to use POS and MICRO systems, preferred.


AGE and CERTIFICATIONS:

21 years of age or above


Southern Nevada Health Card


Alcohol Awareness Training Card

LANGUAGE SKILLS:

Ability to read and understand a variety of instructions furnished in written or oral. Fluency in English required. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:

Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
